Am I eligible to become a sxster?Non-greek affiliated students are eligible to become sxsters of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc., Zeta Gamma Chapter if they have at least a 2.75 GPA and 12 established credit hours at Iowa State University. If you are a first-semester freshman or a transfer student, this means you will have to wait until the following semester to become eligible.

Do I have to identify as Latinx to join?Anyone is welcome to join. We are Latin by tradition, not by definition. We have sxsters from all backgrounds

What are the principles of Lambda Theta Alpha?Unity, love and respect are our principles.

Can I join as a graduate student?Zeta Gamma Chapter is an undergraduate chapter of Lambda Theta Alpha. If you are a graduate student, you have to join an alumnae chapter. Alpha Lambda is the alumane chapter for our area.

Why do you say sxster?Our organization is inclusive of all identities. Sxster allows all members to feel welcome and loved.
